Chie is a Japanese *Seitai Practitioner, originally from Japan. She is the founder of **”HACHIGA Method Seitai” and “Bridal Seitai.” She is also the author of “Biken Seitai,” which reached No.1 on Amazon's ranking.
Chie became fascinated by Seitai when she witnessed a woman, who couldn’t walk due to lower back pain, stand straight and walk normally without pain after just a 15-minute Seitai session. It seemed like magic, and she wanted to learn how the Seitai practitioner achieved this. This experience led Chie to become a Seitai practitioner herself.
After many years of working in different workplaces and attending training, she finally opened "HACHIGA SEITAI Clinic" in Tokyo in 2014. She has treated over 50,000 patients!
Chie has also been running Seitai schools and seminars in Japan for eight years, which have become very popular. Her courses are always fully booked.
Starting in the middle of August, she will be working with us in the UK, aiming to spread Seitai around the world.
*Seitai (整体) literally means "body adjustment" and is one of the most popular bodywork methods in Japan. It differs from Shiatsu, and the techniques can vary depending on the practitioner.
****The HACHIGA Method Seitai is an original therapy developed by Japanese therapist Chie Hachiga. This treatment approaches both bones and muscles, creating an image of a fusion between osteopathy and chiropractic techniques. It is a gentle, non-painful therapy aimed at addressing and improving the root causes of bodily discomfort.
